Here is
a clay pot by Potter (Artist) Mary; Mary is almost done with her pot with the help of the
two kids in the Clay Mobile event sponsored by Northern Clay Center. She is a
volunteer for Northern Clay Center <
www.northernclaycenter.org >, and also an elementary school teacher.
She mentions the names of several Japanese potters (famous worldwide), but I don't know
any of them. She
adds, "There are so many great Japanese potters. BTW, the annual
American
Pottery Festival will be held from 060908 through 060910. You should
attend the Festival."; For info on the Festival, check <
http://www.northernclaycenter.org/
> Exhibitions or Calendar. This pic
was shot at Uptown, Minneapolis, MN, on 060806.
